Episode 122: Teacher Resilience Unpacked: Connection, Pausing, and Simplicity!

Lindsay TitusDefine YOUniversity Podcast

Hello Define YOU Crew! I am so excited YOU are here! Welcome to the Define YOUniversity Podcast!

In this week’s episode, we are unpacking 4 lessons/concepts that kept surfacing this past week for me, and I’m excited to share them with you! When I thought about a theme for this weeks episode, teacher resilience kept coming up!

Maybe that’s because I’m in the middle of facilitating a book study on teacher resilience using the book Onward by Elena Aguilar! Either way, this was a fun episode to record as I share highlights from my week in hopes that they help YOU stay present and focused in your week ahead!

The 4 topics of this episode include:

  • The importance of finding ways to connect with your colleagues (or other educators!)

  • The importance of pausing when reading emails and why not immediately responding might be what’s best

  • A reminder that simple strategies are the quickest to implement!

  • How to adjust routines without sacrificing the original intent or goal of the routine!

I’m so excited to bring this real-time content to each of YOU each week! As always, don’t forget YOU can always ask questions or share ideas on the website at www.defineyouniversity.com/podcast
