The bridge to independence is one that I believe we take with our children and our students. Teaching skills when our students are calm AND supporting our students when the feelings surface are both necessary pieces to transformative change! In this week’s episode I am sharing how my own mindset on this has shifted over the past few years, and how I help my own daughter, and the students I work with, walk the bridge to their own independence by providing support one step at a time.
