B-4! Bingo is a game that is adored by both the young and the old. This game can be used in so many ways by classroom teachers, school volunteers, or even at a staff gathering.

Bingo

Bingo is a game played with a board and chips. Letters and numbers are combined and read to give participants a space to cover on their board each turn.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bingo Board
  • Bingo Chips

Prep Work:

You can buy bingo games for your classroom covering addition, subtraction, and most other math concepts! However, if you are like me and want to make personalized boards, you can make a table on Word, Google Docs, or even use Canva! Teachers may want to laminate the boards for future use. You can use counters or even candy to cover the spaces.

How to Play:

Players begin with one or more boards.

A caller pulls a card and calls out numbers and letters or other board squares as used.

The player covers that letter and number if it is included on their board.

When the player covers a whole row they call out, “BINGO,” and have to state their line to make sure it is truly a Bingo.

Postage stamp (a square of 4) or coverall (all spaces covered) are optional ways to shake up gameplay.
