As we often remember back in our elementary school days, there was often one kid chosen as the “line leader” or something of leadership. It was usually the well-behaved kid. As we take a dip back into memory lane, imagine that moment your teacher chose someone else to be the leader instead of you. That choice might have made you feel a certain feeling, like why not me?

Now place yourself in your kids’ shoes, when we are selective choosing. In reality of a classroom, if you have 30 students, you have 30 student leaders, not just one.
