Episode #152: Paul Emerich France

Dana GoodierBlog

Paul Emerich France is a keynoter, educational consultant and author of “Reclaiming Personalized Learning” and “Humanizing Distance Learning”. Paul is a National Board Certified Teacher and Literacy Specialist. In all of his writing and speaking, he aims to convey one central message: we must teach and learn in the pursuit of a deeper sense of collective humanity—and for no other reason. He pours his heart and soul into his writing, and you can find his work in a number of education publications, such as Edutopia, EdSurge, ASCD’s “Educational Leadership”, the International Literacy Association’s “Literacy Today,” and Learning Forward’s “The Learning Professional.” He has been featured at SXSW EDU, as well as in The New Yorker, WIRED, and The Atlantic.

He currently consults with teachers, schools, and school districts, and offers educational support to families in pods and one-on-one settings. Most importantly, he is a very proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, husband to David, and dad to two dogs, Maya and Barley.
